After returning home from military duty with the United State Navy, Mike Mohs began working in the roofing and construction business.  After seeing first hand the workmanship and business practices of the time, in 1963 he started his own company putting the customer first using the best materials and created the “Mohs Roofing System” that is used today.  This system combines the use of the best materials on the market and over 50 years of best business practices to create a roof that is unmatched.

Since 1963, Mike Mohs Construction has also become known for their other services including remodeling and additions.  Whether it is replacing/adding a window, door, or skylight, adding on to your existing home, or just simply renovating a current bathroom, kitchen, etc. it will be done with the same precision and care that customers have come to expect from an industry leader.

In 2005, Mike’s oldest son Scott became the new leader of the company.  Having worked side-by-side with his father, he witnessed the value of honesty and integrity and continues to illustrate that with each customer interaction. From the founding, Mike Mohs strived for excellence and that continues today with his grandsons now following in that tradition.
